When you’re sat in a long meeting it’s important you stay hydrated, for your general health and to maintain concentration. The best way to do this is with a glass of cold water, but you’re in a meeting so you can’t exactly get up and walk to a tap.
At the Rochester Bridge Trust it has been our habit to provide larger bottles of water around the table, for people to help themselves as needed. This works well for us and our guests, and we’re pleased to say we are able to continue the practice as part of our carbon review.
We now order our bottles from Kingsdown Water. As well as being Kent-based (the bottles have less distance to travel), their environmental credentials are excellent, which means we can be reassured we are making a sensible purchase.
They also produce a selection of flavoured drinks, so we’re now trialling those for use at events
