During the Rochester Bridge Refurbishment Project, lead contractor FM Conway used lots of different ways to discuss and plan works. One of these was a large whiteboard printed with a plan and elevation of the bridges, for use during meetings.
At the end of the refurbishment, the site office was removed and a number of items were stored for potential future use.
The whiteboard now takes centre stage in the new permanent office of the Bridge Team, where it is used to plan future maintenance works.
This provides a quick, easy and visual way to review the structures and has proved to be an excellent re-usable addition to the office, replacing the need for printed plans.
