A Chartered Quantity Surveyor with more than 13 years’ construction experience, I am the Rochester Bridge Trust’s Cost Manager.
My responsibilities include management of commercial processes and procedures, commercial risk management, and cost audit and assessment. For this project I’m particularly looking forward to working on an unamended NEC4 contract.
One of the challenges will be managing any changes to the scope. However there are mechanisms within the contract to deal with the change, meaning an important aspect of my role is ensuring costs and cash flow are accurately forecasted.
Prior to joining the Trust, my experience spanned both contracting and PQS roles while administering different forms of contract (NEC, JCT and FIDIC). My work has taken me around the UK and to the Middle East.
In my spare time I enjoy long distance trail running, golf, hiking and camping.
