Road users are advised there will be temporary single lane restrictions on Rochester Bridge for one night on Friday, 2 June, to enable essential works to take place.
Single lane traffic management is scheduled to run from approximately 9pm until 5am, to minimise disruption to road-users.
The works are to carry out routine maintenance including the cleaning of expansion joints on both bridges, and inspecting the lanterns on the Old Bridge.
Routine maintenance is carried out at Net Zero Carbon, using a variety of carbon-friendly working practices. Electricity is provided from 100% renewable sources, and waste materials are re-used or recycled wherever it is possible to do so.
The works will be carried out by FM Conway, on behalf of the Rochester Bridge Trust.
