Apply to take part in the Education Enrichment Schools Programme 2026-2028

You can apply now for your school to considered for participation in the pilot of the Engineering Enrichment Schools Programme, by downloading and completing the application form below and emailing it to education@rbt.org.uk.

Applications close: Friday 1 May 2026.

Requirements

Applications must be completed by the STEM Lead (either the post-holder or a proposed nominated representative for the programme).

Each application must include a supporting statement from the Headteacher.

Assessment criteria

For your school to be able to take part in the EESP, it must be:

  • located within the historic county of Kent (this includes Kent, Medway, Bexley and Bromley).
  • a secondary school that is part of a multi‑academy trust which must include primary schools.

Applications will be assessed against the following criteria:

  • alignment with the Rochester Bridge Trust’s values
  • plans to strengthen STEM provision across the school
  • clear demonstration of how the school will work with their feeder primary schools to deliver enrichment activities
  • how you plan to use the funding
  • plans for measuring impact and monitoring participation

After application

Successful and unsuccessful applicants will be notified of the outcome of their applications by email no later than 1 June 2026.
