Prize for young STEM enthusiast

A promising young science ambassador has been recognised by his school and the Rochester Bridge Trust.

Oreoluwa Emmanuel was presented with the Rochester Grammar School STEM Award at the school’s recent prize giving ceremony. The Year 13 pupil received his award from Peter Homewood, Assistant Warden of the Rochester Bridge Trust, which helped found the school.

Praised for his willingness to help out with everything related to STEM, Oreoluwa has been the driving force behind a number of school science activities, including helping out at the weekly STEM Club.

Peter Homewood commented: “It was a pleasure to attend the Rochester Grammar School prizegiving and present this award to Oreoluwa. He is obviously a very considerate student and generous with his time, supporting and encouraging the younger students. I am sure he has a bright career ahead of him and wish him well with his A-levels.”
