As part of its work, the Rochester Bridge Trust is committed to promoting awareness and understanding of civil engineering among young people, families and teachers.
A range of projects is planned or under way with primary and secondary schools, colleges and universities and we are seeking an inspiring and self-motivated Education Officer to take forward our engineering education programme. This post would suit an engineer or teacher seeking a new and interesting challenge. The mainly term-time post is 24 hours per week with the usual working hours being 9am to 3pm Monday to Thursday, although the postholder will be required to work beyond 3pm from time to time to support after-school clubs and occasional evening events. Annual leave is generous but may be taken during school holiday periods only. The salary is up to £22,030 plus contributory pension.
